The Signal Enhancing Resistivity Meter (Model SERM), which is being offered by GEO SENSORS, is designed on the basis of latest microprocessor technology. The instrument incorporates a number of advanced techniques for reliable and high quality data acquisition for mineral, groundwater and any other geophysical exploration. The SERM-1 utilizes the entire current being injected into the ground increasing the signal strength to probe deeper layers. The excellent depth penetration with relatively low power inputs is achieved through signal enhancement by signal stacking upto 16 successive measurements. Thus the SERM-1 Resistivity Meter can be used for depths of upto 600m under favorable geological and other field conditions.
